Buying a CPO Honda comes with a number of perks, and our dealers are happy to share what exactly they are.
2 Levels of Certification
Honda has two different levels of CPO certification, HondaTrue Certified and HondaTrue Certified+. The latter is only eligible for 2020 and 2021 model-year vehicles, and the major difference is that the warranty includes an extra year and 38,000 miles of non-powertrain coverage.
CPO Eligibility
First of all, only the highest quality and newest pre-owned Honda cars are eligible for the CPO program. A Honda car must be a 2015 model year or newer and have less than 80,000 miles. It must also have a Vehicle History Report for the buyer to peruse.
Multi-Point Inspection
The first step in becoming Certified is for a vehicle to pass a 182-point inspection completed by a Honda technician. The checklist includes a wide variety of different parts, including powertrain, cabin, exterior, and more. After the inspection is complete, you’ll be able to download the report from Honda.
Limited Warranty
Every CPO vehicle includes seven years or 100,000 miles of powertrain coverage and 12 months or 12,000 miles of non-powertrain coverage.
Roadside Assistance
The included roadside assistance program lasts for the duration of the limited warranty and includes things like tire changes and tows.
Complimentary Maintenance
Buyers receive up to two free oil changes in the first year of ownership.
