Midsize pickup trucks are popular, and the competition is steep. Pickup trucks are known for being rough and a bit rigid, so when one comes along, that provides everything from innovative storage solutions to a quiet, comfortable interior to a smooth ride, people tend to take notice. That truck is the Honda Ridgeline.
Looking Forward to the 2021 Honda Ridgeline
Here at Hall Honda Virginia Beach, we love the Honda Ridgeline for numerous reasons. Still, one at the top of the list is this Honda pickup truck’s ability to deliver a much smoother ride than the competition.
That said, there’s more to the upcoming 2021 Honda Ridgeline than a comfortable ride. Overall, the Honda Ridgeline is considered a one-size-fits all truck. It doesn’t focus on off-roading or towing as other makes, but what it lacks in those areas, it makes up for in others.
What’s New for 2021?
New for the 2021 model year, the Ridgeline gets a makeover, which gives it more of a rugged look than before. While still not the burliest pickup in the bunch, we find it attractive and appealing to most audiences.
Also new is an optional package from Honda Performance Development (HDP) available for all trim levels. The package includes black over-fenders, a distinctive blacked-out grille, HPD graphics on the bed walls, and bronze wheels.
Additional 2021 Honda Ridgeline Features
Powering the Ridgeline is a 3.5-liter V6 engine that puts out 280 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque. Due to its quick acceleration, the Ridgeline pulls back a bit on towing capabilities with a tow rating of 5,000 lb.
Overall, the 2021 Honda Ridgeline promises to be a pickup truck for the masses. While not the one with the most brawn, it’s definitely the one with the most comfort.
