There are more choices on today’s car market than ever. Even within the line of new Honda models, there are a variety of different Honda types, and whether this is your first time buying a car or you’re a seasoned veteran, the choice can be difficult. Here at Hall Honda Virginia Beach, our team of friendly Honda dealers are happy to explain the differences between the Honda body styles.

Sedan

A sedan has four doors and a traditional trunk. They’re available in a wide range of sizes, ranging from small sedans like the Honda Civic to larger models like the Honda Accord. Sedans are a great option for everyday commuters, as they tend to be some of the most fuel-efficient vehicles on the market.

Coupe

Historically, a coupe is a two-door car with a trunk and a solid roof. The Honda Civic also comes in a coupe configuration, which is slightly smaller than the sedan configuration. Coupes tend to be one of the sportiest body styles and offer thrilling performance and handling.

SUV

Short for Sport Utility Vehicle, the SUV is now one of the most popular Honda types. They tend to be taller and boxier than sedans, offer an elevated seating position, and have more ground clearance than a car.

SUVs like the Honda CR-V are often off-road-ready and make for great family vehicles, thanks to their spacious cabins and long list of safety features.

Pickup Truck

A pickup truck has a passenger cab and an open cargo bed in the rear. Nearly all pickups, including the Honda Ridgeline, offer some form of all-wheel-drive or part-time four-wheel-drive. Pickup trucks tend to come in two sizes, full-size and mid-size.

No matter which type of Honda body style is right for you, you can find it right here at Hall Honda Virginia Beach.
