How Does a Car Qualify for the Certified Pre-Owned Vehicle Program?
In order to be eligible for the Honda CPO program, a vehicle must be newer than ten years old and must pass a 182-point inspection, with repairs and upgrades. Any problems found during the inspection process will be fixed with factory parts.
What Are the Benefits to Purchasing a Honda CPO Model?
In addition to the benefits of purchasing pre-owned, like big savings and a lower rate of depreciation, you’ll find specific CPO Honda benefits, as well. These include:

Are There Different CPO Levels?
You’ll actually have three different levels of Honda Certified Pre-Owned models to pick from.
The base option, HondaTrue Used, covers models produced from 2012-2022 and provides Powertrain and Non-Powertrain coverage for 100 days or 5,000 miles. With HondaTrue Certified, models must be produced between 2017-2022 and have less than 80,000 miles, and you’ll enjoy Powertrain coverage for seven years or 100,000 miles.
At the top is the HondaTrue Certified+ program, which covers 2021-2022 models with less than 80,000 miles. You’ll have Powertrain coverage for seven years or 100,000 miles and Non-Powertrain coverage for five years or 86,000 miles.
