New Honda models have always been associated with high-tech features and connectivity on the open road. With the addition of Google Gemini™ to select Honda vehicles, you’ll enjoy even more functionality from your infotainment system than ever before. Learn about the connectivity features in new and upcoming Honda vehicles when you visit Hall Honda Virginia Beach.
What is Google Gemini™?
Google Gemini™ is an AI assistant that replaces Google Assistant™ in compatible vehicles with Google built-in™. It’s designed to support your driving needs while limiting distraction to keep you safe behind the wheel. While Honda vehicles have long had options for hands-free connectivity, Google Gemini™ takes it to the next level, with a more intelligent system that offers natural conversation capability and a uniquely personalized driving experience.
All you have to do is sign into your Google account from your vehicle and you’ll have access to navigation support and travel guidance that doesn’t require repetition. One of the standout features of the Google Gemini™ program is its ability to remember previous conversations and context, so you don’t need to repeat information, and so every request feels like a conversation.
What Can I Do With Google Gemini™?
Google Gemini™ offers the same functionality as previous navigation and infotainment systems, but with a more human touch. Because it is capable of both understanding more nuanced requests and learning over time, you’ll feel like you’re chatting with a friend, rather than a screen.
It can help you to reach your destination, as well as find stops for food or fuel, but it takes capability one step further. When you say, “Hey Google, let’s talk”, you engage the Gemini Live™ function for conversation, which can be used for anything from planning family trips to prepping for your next meeting.
